So obviously I am always going to be a fan, but I generally think so highly of Omar Hraib's illustrations. Commercially Omar has been involved in the pop star Essers' many artwork releases, including album, singles, T's and gig posters and designed a pair of Ray Ban Wayarer's and a Fender Strat for the Rayban exhibition in Selfridges. His newest piece has been inspired by his music icon's and he has painted intricate portraits of Prince and Q-Tip (top). These 2 paintings look even better when you see the real thing, and his personal artistic style comes through as really striking on the canvas.
Heavily inspired by music and animals, his animated and amusing manner is always well delivered onto the page. So many more great pieces at his website www.omarhraib.com.
