The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

It's always a shame when you see the film before you read the book and that is exactly what I have just done with the Swedish film The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. No matter how good I hear the book is, the film was brilliant on it's own. Really really violent, but 3 hours of entertainment. The Swedish landscapes throughout the film are stunning and the murder mystery story line keeps you gripped throughout. The poster does it no justice. Go see.

Just What The Doctor Ordered

I often crave to take a deep breathe of fresh air in when I'm at home in London and my prayers may have just been answered. What a cute idea thanks to The National Trust.

Hot Stuff

Rihanna- Rude Boy
Best pop song at the moment.
Beyonce still owns it though. You got to try a bit harder Rihanna.

a step too far?

So the pink hair phenomenon has taken over editorials and blogs for the past couple of months and yes I have fallen head first into this trend too. I loved having pinky hair, if only it had lasted a few more washes. My friend showed me the above picture, and this has taken it to another level. This T-shirt comes with pink hair attached to it so you needn't be bothered with finding the right dye. Just flick your hair to the side and you have some nice pink streaks ready and waiting.
I'm not too keen on this though. I have a phobia of hair like that so I think I will be sticking to my wash out stuff. It creeps me out a bit.

Paris a la my POP

Paris through my Konica POP...but you can probably tell from all the Eiffel Tower pics. I got a bit carried away. Still testing the camera out, but this is the untouched outcome and I like it.

Sutra

A random one but last night I went to see Sutra at The Sadler's Wells. Sutra is a brand new dance work inspired by the skills, strength and spirituality of Buddhist Shaolin monks. The 17 Monks performing in Sutra are directly from the original Shaolin Temple, situated near Dengfeng City in the Henan Province of China and established in 495AD by monks originating from India.
The set was designed by Antony Gormley and consists of 21 wooden boxes. This complimented the monks martial arts beautifully and all together it was a stunning show.
Sutra is on until the 26th of March and I highly recommend. Get along if you can.

Lady Gaga feat. Beyonce - Telephone

The 2 hottest ladies in pop music have collaborated again, and this week released an amazing 9 minute video. ITS BRILLIANT. The costumes are great and it's just generally a lot of fun. I love Beyonce too much, and I am starting to love Gaga the same.

FACT OF THE DAY: LADY GAGA WAS BORN ON THE SAME DAY, SAME YEAR AS ME. THAT SCARES ME A BIT.

Topman Trench Coat Project

The final piece in a series of collaborative projects, Topman has carefully chosen a list of designers to re-interpret a staple garment from a Man’s wardrobe. Designers Mihara Yasuhiro, Tim Soar, B Blessing and Alister Mackie have created their version of the perfect trench coat alongside Topman Design's own version.

V. NICE. Every man should own one. Topman never fail at their collaboration projects.
