It's always a shame when you see the film before you read the book and that is exactly what I have just done with the Swedish film The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. No matter how good I hear the book is, the film was brilliant on it's own. Really really violent, but 3 hours of entertainment. The Swedish landscapes throughout the film are stunning and the murder mystery story line keeps you gripped throughout. The poster does it no justice. Go see.

in english the film has the shit title of 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' - what a pile of cheesy wank. In swedish the title translates to 'Those Who Hate Women' - much more sadistic and fun.
